Before accepting a new Client or Matter it is important to have a robust system in place to manage potential Conflicts of Interest (COI). Auxilium Patronas can generate a COI Request for each fee earner/staff member and alert them to the request.

The fee earner/staff member then confirms if they have a COI or not and provides notes, when applicable. The responses can then be monitored to ensure that they have all been received.

The responses can then be reviewed and, if the practice proceeds with the business, the COI Responses can then be assigned to the Matter record, ensuring that they are available for reference in the future.
